Some of Imperial Valley’s most accomplished leaders, innovators, and changemakers began their journeys at Imperial Valley College (IVC). Now, the community has a chance to celebrate their achievements by nominating them for the 2025 IVC Hall of Fame—a prestigious recognition reserved for outstanding alumni who have made a lasting impact in their fields and beyond.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate those who have carried the spirit of IVC into the world and made a meaningful difference,” said Todd Evangelist, executive director of the IVC Foundation. “We encourage everyone to take part in this tradition by nominating someone whose achievements deserve to be recognized.”
The IVC Hall of Fame honors former students who have demonstrated excellence in various fields, including business, healthcare, education, athletics, public service, and community leadership. By sharing their success stories, the event aims to inspire current and future students to strive for greatness.
Nominations are open to the public, and anyone can put forward a deserving candidate who has made significant contributions in their profession or community. The deadline to submit nominations is March 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
To nominate a candidate, community members can submit an application online at www.bit.ly/IVCHOFnominate. The selection committee will review the nominations and announce the 2025 honorees in the coming months.
The honorees will be formally recognized at the IVC Hall of Fame Dinner & Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025. The event will be held at the college’s Student Center (Building 600) and will bring together past and present IVC students, faculty, staff, and community members to honor the inductees.
The Hall of Fame Ceremony is more than just an evening of recognition—it’s a celebration of the impact IVC graduates have had on their industries and communities. It also serves as an opportunity to foster connections between generations of students and alumni, strengthening the college’s legacy of excellence.
Proceeds from the Hall of Fame event will go toward scholarships and programs that benefit current and future IVC students. By attending the ceremony or making a donation, community members can contribute to the success of the next generation of leaders who will continue to make a difference in Imperial Valley and beyond.
Details regarding ticket sales, sponsorship opportunities, and additional event information will be announced soon.
